Instructional Soccer
Professionally Run
Registrar: Brian Olsen
The Clark Soccer Club Instructional program is focused on introducing the game of soccer to
Pre-kindergarten aged children. The program is designed for first time players interested in understanding what soccer is all about.
The program includes games and activities that allow kids to learn at their own pace while having fun and improving their motor skills.
While enjoying themselves, the children develop skills that will be used later at the recreational level of the club's soccer program
and in other activities they participate in. Along with encouraging skill development in the young players, the program aims to instill
a sense of enjoyment and excitement about the game of soccer that will lead to a lifelong love of the game.
The program is run on Saturday mornings in both the spring and fall seasons. Sessions run for approximately 10 weeks. The club utlizes a
profressional soccer training company to run all sessions. All participants receive a T-shirt and soccer ball with their paid registration fee.
Although there are no games in the instrurctional program, all players are required to wear shin guards and cleats.
The Instructional program will be held on Saturday mornings from 9-10 am at the Brewer field (430 Westfield Ave, Clark). Each participant will receive a ball and T-shirt on the first day.
Parents will need to provide cleats and shin guards for their child.
