Travel Soccer
Fall Tournament
Coordinator: Jason Katz
The Clark Soccer Club’s travel program is focused on providing an opportunity for the youth of Clark,
Winfield and Garwood to participate in a healthy, competitive soccer environment. Through this environment, the Club strives for players to develop their
personal potential as well as their soccer potential and for each participant to:
The travel program consists of both boys and girls teams starting in second grade at the U8 level. Teams can continue to participate
in the travel program through U18. All travel teams are formed through mandatory try-outs held each spring. Teams are coached and managed
by volunteers of the club but will have a professional trainer to assist in training sessions.
Participation in the travel program is a large commitment on the part of the player and parents. The program is a full year program with the
exception of the summer months. Players must commit to both the spring and fall season to be placed on a team. Teams typically practice two
nights a week for 90 minutes and play one game on the weekend. Often there is winter training held between the fall and spring season.
The Clark Soccer Club is an affiliate of the Mid-New Jersey Soccer Association. As such, Mid-New Jersey is the organizer of all games for the
travel program. Participants of the travel program can expect to play other teams that are affiliated with the Mid-New Jersey Soccer Association
located within the Central Jersey area. Travel time to games is typically no more than one hour from the Clark area.
