As of today July 6th, NJ Youth Soccer moved into phase 4 of their return to play plan. With this updated status, our the executive board has approved our coaches to return to the field, but this will require your cooperation.

Below you will find a list broken out between parent and coach responsibilities that will be your part of ensuring a safe and smooth return to the field. We simply can not be too cautious, so please do your part for your child's safety and the safety of your fellow teammates and neighbors.

Parent Responsibilities:
1 - Complete & sign the Clark Soccer Club release form attached (no player will be allowed to participate until this waiver is returned to their coach) covid-19 - csc hold harmless waiver.docx
2 - Before sending your child to the field for practice, tryouts, scrimmage, etc. please check your child's temp and submit your answers to the health screening questions using this link Clark Soccer Club Health Screening form
3 - When arriving at the field, please keep your child with you in your vehicle until the coach has called the players to the field (usually just 5 mins before the scheduled time)
4 - Do not leave your vehicle or congregate near the field when dropping off or picking up your child
5 - Ensure that your child arrives at the field with a face covering over their mouth and nose
6 - Should the unfortunate happen after your group has begun to play, and your child test positive for COVID 19, I ask that you please inform me, so that the soccer players you may have been around are aware.
7 - make sure your child uses your home bathroom before coming to practice to limit their need to use the restrooms at Bartell (which will be cleaned daily and following each use)
8 - Do not linger for socializing purposes afterwards

Our coaches are taking on a list of responsibilities as well with this return to play and while they will remind your child of the following, I think it would be good for you to understand the steps they are taking.

Coaches Responsibilities:
1 -  Arrive early to prepare field for the arrival of players, setup landing zone with a cone separated at least 6 feet apart for each player, where their personal items including water will be stored for the day
2 - Coach face coverings should be worn at all times, with one exception when actively participating in the session (physical activity)
3 - Setup and collect all equipment (cones, goals and balls) without the help of players
4 - Sanitize all equipment before each practice
5 - Run smart practice sessions, utilizing social distancing where practical and scrimmaging as necessary
6 -  Bathroom will remained locked and coach will open lock as required and will perform necessary cleaning following use (clean all surfaces including door handles)
7 - Limit any unnecessary contact between players and coach included high 5s, fist bumps, etc
8 - Collect all Complete & sign the Clark Soccer Club release forms for their team and place them in the binder located in the Bartell shed
9 - Include the Clark Soccer Club Health Screening form with your team communications so your parents can easily find and complete the form

As a reminder, if you are not comfortable playing, don't. If you are not sure your child is feeling well, keep them home.

Lastly, we have targeted tryouts for the week of July 20th, final schedule to be posted within the next couple days. If you are interested in trying out, please make sure you register so that we can plan appropriately.
